Prior to Akamai, Mr. Bonci was involved in the Open Source community as an engineer at VA Linux and as a contributor to the Debian Linux Distribution. His role included management of approximately 700 employees and 300 contractors and an annual operating budget of approximately $250 million. He is also an Eagle Scout.
