Database of verified government social media accounts loses its teeth

Back in 2016, the General Services Administration announced the launch of the U.S. Digital Registry, a database for tracking official government social media accounts, mobile websites, and apps. Currently, there are 463 user accounts on the registry, according to GSA, though it’s not clear how actively it is used by the public.
