With the Procurement Act 2023 now set to come into force on 24 February 2025, contracting authorities have been given an additional four-month extension to prepare. This includes call-offs under existing framework agreements and DPS for their remaining terms. For DPS, there is a long stop date of 24 February 2029.

The current procurement rules will remain in effect until 23 February 2025 and will apply to procurements commenced before this date. When does the Procurement Act take effect?
