The current procurement rules will remain in effect until 23 February 2025 and will apply to procurements commenced before this date.

Procurement Act 2023: What’s next and why you should act now

With the Procurement Act 2023 now set to come into force on 24 February 2025, contracting authorities have been given an additional four-month extension to prepare. This includes call-offs under existing framework agreements and DPS for their remaining terms. For DPS, there is a long stop date of 24 February 2029.
