On Thursday, GAO released its Bid Protest Annual Report to Congress for Fiscal Year 2023 , which provides bid protest statistics and other interesting information regarding GAO’s protest system. The sustain rate increased from 13% to 31%. For each of the past four years, the sustain rate has alternated between 13% and 15%.

Government Accountability Office (GAO) issued its annual report to Congress on bid protects for Fiscal Year 2023, showing an increase in bid protests and sustains.
Though not the first sustain of 2024 (click here for our writeup of 2024’s first sustain), GAO’s decision in American Material Handling, Inc.
