Challenge : In 2020, only 5% of Lithuania’s public procurement spending by value used green criteria that favor environmentally friendly products and services. Results : Levels of green procurement uptake across Lithuanian public institutions have increased to 94% by value and 93% by total procedures as of 1 December 2023.

Pa Goldbeck, Strategic Performance Manager, and Mary Niichel-Hegwood, Procurement Administrator, participated in an outreach event called “Meet the Buyers”, one of many vendor engagement outreach events the City is doing. The reforms also helped increase ownership of procurement by different city departments.

So looking back, we’ve published our Annual Ministerial Report on Procurement Activity in Scotland for 2021-2022, again, demonstrating the power of procurement. Highlights include over £16 billion of public procurement spend on goods and services, which is up £1.5 Well, that’s all for now.

Framework Public Bodies will be notified in advance of the effective date of any new pricing and a new Lyreco catalogue will be uploaded in due course. Framework Public Bodies are encouraged to complete the RFI and confirm their interest in participating in a User Intelligence Group (UIG) for the new procurement exercise.
