Public procurement needs to be more transparent, efficient, and accountable to tackle the major social and economic challenges faced by governments across the world. I have had opportunities to support more than 60 countries across the globe in reviewing and advising their e-procurement (e-GP) initiatives.
It all starts with procurement. Mexico City has devised an efficient, participatory, and transparent approach to seek input from potential suppliers and the public on draft contracting documents before a formal call to tender is announced.
