South Korea has been a pioneer of green public procurement (GPP) since 2005 , when the Environment Ministry enacted legislation mandating government agencies to buy “green products” whenever possible. This allows organizations such as the Korea Institute of Procurement (KIP) to analyze the impact of the reforms.

Results : Levels of green procurement uptake across Lithuanian public institutions have increased to 94% by value and 93% by total procedures as of 1 December 2023.

CivicDataLab analyzed Assams public procurement data to estimate the share of green public procurement (GPP). GPP refers to procurement that incorporates climate and environmental goals. CivicDataLab developed a methodology to identify and measure green public procurement using tender titles.
