In a letter to congressional leaders, Special Counsel Hampton Dellinger calls for making this recognition permanent. “The establishment of a permanent Whistleblower Appreciation Day reinforces the longstanding bipartisan consensus that whistleblowers serve an invaluable role in our government,” Dellinger said.
